bebo bullying

Hi, I would like to know what to do in the case of someone setting up a "band" in the name of another person. Some child has set this up with a photo of my child and other abusive, disgusting stuff. I'm not really sure how all these bebo sites work but my daughter found it and showed me. They can't remove it. It was really upsetting. I will be ringing the school but other advice would be appreciated.

That's called an imposter profile, and I believe all the responsible social-networking sites delete those upon request. You can have your daughter report this here or send her profile URL/address to admin@blogsafety.com, and we'll pass the info along to our contact. Thanks,
Anne
